We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated GP to join our dynamic, forward-looking and friendly Practice as a Salaried GP.

We are a well-established training practice providing services for our growing practice list of 10200 patients.

This is a rewarding and varied role, for a GP who shares our ethos of providing patient centred care and education.

Salaried GP

4-8 Sessions per week  

Commencing August 2021 

Salary: Negotiable / Dependant on Experience

• Nominated twice for GP Practice of the Year at the National GP Practice Awards.
• 6 partners, 1 Salaried Doctor.
• Supported by an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescriber, Wellbeing Coaches and MSK First Contact Practitioners who are already in post with further supportive roles planned to commence shortly.
• 4 Practice Nurses, 3 Healthcare Assistants, 2 Phlebotomists and Nurse Trainees.
• SystmOne.
• Modern premises in the semi-rural village of Ackworth.
• Established Training Practice with 4 Tutors, GP registrars, Medical Students and Students Nurses.
• Weekly clinical/educational meetings, providing robust continuing professional development. This includes a wide range of educational topics, quality improvement activity, mandatory training above and beyond the minimum requirements as well as peer support on clinical topics. 
• Generous study leave allowance.
• A typical session consisting of a maximum of 13 appointments.  
• A maximum of 1-2 home visits.
• On-call commitment pro-rata according to your total number of weekly sessions worked, making this fair and equitable.

Ackworth is a lovely village in West Yorkshire with excellent state primary schools and a large Independent school (3-18 years).

There is a thriving community, churches and shops and excellent transport links to Leeds, York, the M62 and the A1.
